For example, where most would use synthesizers, he might surprise you by using an electric guitar and a violin bow. If you want an unusual drum sound, then he might use marbles running across the top of a snare drum repeated in echoes. He’s an excellent recording & mixing engineer, but his greatest strength lies in his ability to conjure up sounds that have only existed in imagination.”
