Mix engineer

Mix engineer, Andy Moore, offers mixing services ranging from cursory to in-depth. A cursory mix would be a fairly quick final mix – after you have done as much mixing on your project as you can, we can catch any big issues before sending off to master. An in-depth mix is more time intensive but can take a rough recording and re-amplify guitar parts through our amplifiers, pitch-correct vocals, horns, or strings, program drums and synths, and refine a song’s ambiance with different reverbs, delays, and other effects. Mixes for songs recorded at Big Horse are typically developed throughout the recording process, then finalized with focused mixing sessions at the end.

Most recently, Andy produced, recorded, and mixed Sam Allbright & the Southern Heat’s latest record, “Crush the Heel Biter” which can be heard on all streaming platforms.
